| Box Sash Windows - How we do it |

- Remove and dispose of staff bead
- Remove lower sash, cords and weights
- Remove and dispose of parting bead
- Remove top sash cords and weights
- Scrape down pulley stiles to remove excess paint if necessary
- Carry out any specified repairs or close sash joints
- Pack out or shoot in sashes to frame
- Ensure middle rails are level
- Clean and paint between the middle rails if appropriate
- Biscuit cut the middle rail to accept draughtsealing material
- Re-hang top sash, balancing weights as necessary
- Fit new parting beads and head beads with brush seals
- Re-hang lower sash, balancing weights if necessary
- Fit new staff bead with mitred joint
- Fit new furniture and locks if required
- Touch up chipped paint or bare surfaces and paint newly fitted beads **

| ** We will touch up with acrylic paint, unless the customer supplies other paint. If the exterior of the window is coloured the parting beads will need to be pre-painted before installation. Such paint is to be supplied by the customer. |
